About

Building got easy. Getting users didn't.

FirstUser exists for the growing number of people who can make a real product and then discover nobody knows it exists.

The hardest user to get is the first one who pays. After that you know someone wants it, and everything else gets easier.

What we believe

Four things we work from

01

Building is no longer the bottleneck

With Claude Code, Codex and similar tools, one person can ship in days what used to take a team months. The number of good products has gone up. The number of people's attention hasn't.

02

Distribution is a skill, not luck

Finding the people who will pay is learnable and specific to each product. Generic advice like “post on social media” fails because it ignores who your buyer is and which platform they actually use.

03

Honesty is the service

Most founders don't need another person telling them their app is great. They need someone to use it and say what's in the way. We'd rather lose a sale than sell a plan we don't believe in.

04

Organic first, and paying users are the score

We grow products on X, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and Reddit without ad spend, because attention you earn keeps working after you stop. Followers and impressions are not the goal. Someone taking out a card is.

Zero users is temporary.Let's find your first.
